By this petition the petitioner seeks bail in case FIR No. 329/2014 under Sections 302/201/34 IPC registered at PS Khyala. 2.
Prosecution case initiated on receipt of an information at 6.30 AM on 30th April, 2014 at PS Khyala about a dead body of a male lying at Ganda Nala Road. On the recovery of the said body above-noted FIR under Section 3022 IPC was registered and the body was identified to be that of Daljit jSingh S/o late Darshan Singh, i.e. the father of the petitioner who was working as a driver with one travel agency. It was revealed that the petitioner was the only daughter residing with her father and her mother had passed away three years ago. As per the post-mortem report the cause of death has been opined to be combined effect of asphyxia and shock as a result of compression of neck by hard object and compression of chest by kneeling and multiple incised wounds with multiple bruising etc. On suspicion the petitioner was interrogated who got recorded her confessional BAIL APPLN. 2591/2018
statements which is inadmissible in evidence. On her disclosure two of her friends namely Prince Sandhu and Goku @ Ashok @ Manish were arrested who are also in custody.

Case of the prosecution is based on the circumstantial evidence of the finger prints of the petitioner on the broken glass apparently used in the murder of the deceased and also from the recovery of the shirt of the appellant which contained blood-stains of the deceased. Petitioner has been in custody since 4th May, 2014 and material witnesses of the prosecution have already been examined.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has been in custody for the last more than four years and material witnesses have been examined, this Court deems it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that the petitioner be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹15,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will intimate to the Court concerned the address where she would be residing and in case of change of residential address the same will also be intimated by way of an affidavit.
