% 16.10.2015 By the present petition the petitioner has sought protection at the hands of anti social elements of the locality and in particular against the accused persons of FIR No.764/2015 (P.S.New Usmanpur) dated 21.07.2015 which was instituted at the instance of the petitioner under Sections 336/506/34 of the IPC read with Sections 27/54/59 of the Arms Act. The status report reveals that pursuant to the lodging of the First Information Report, one of the accused persons was arrested but he has been released on bail.

The complaint of the petitioner about the threats and the fact of one of the accused persons firing at him earlier, was enquired into by the investigating agency. After the complaint referred to above was received by the police, one accused person was arrested. The investigation of the case is

stated to be in progress. However, the ASI of the New Usmanpur police station who is present in Court has been asked to give his mobile telephone number to the petitioner so that any SOS call in case of necessity could be made to the police station or to the officer concerned whereupon it would be incumbent upon the police personnels of the police station to act with urgent dispatch and provide safety to the petitioner.
