This petition under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the „Act‟) has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

Counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended.

Having considered the submissions made in the petition and no objection given by the counsel for the respondent, time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator is extended by a further period of four months with effect from 27.10.2018.
