The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 50/2006 under Sections 326/324/506/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Maurice Nagar, Delhi.

Ms Rao, learned ASC appearing for the State, states on instructions of the concerned IO that the respondent no.2 (the complainant) has some reservations against the terms of settlement. None is present on behalf of the petitioners as well.

Since the present petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the same. In this view, the petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file afresh, in the event a firm settlement is arrived at between the concerned parties.
