1. The latest status report states that the DNA report was not helpful as the alleles generated from the source exhibit, i.e. blood sample of Rashid, could not be compared due to non-availability of DNA from the teeth and bone piece.
2. It is stated that on 10th July 2018, Chanchal @ Raja @ Rohit @ Chokhe @ Yogesh has been arrested and he has made some disclosure statement.
3. The charge sheet against accused Farman and accused Chanchal has been prepared which is under scrutiny in the prosecution branch.
4. The Court is of the view that the criminal justice process is underway as
all the accused have been arrested. The law should be allowed to take its course.
5. No further directions are called for in the present writ petition.
6. The writ petition is disposed of.
