1. Neither anyone appears for the petitioner nor has any rejoinder affidavit been filed on his behalf till date.

2. A perusal of the order dated 08.08.2023 shows that the learned counsel for the petitioner had on that date informed this Court that he was not receiving any instructions from the petitioner. Furthermore, none had appeared on behalf of the petitioner even on 23.01.2024.

3. In these circumstances, it appears that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the writ petition any further, which is, accordingly, dismissed in default and for non-prosecution.
