None has appeared on behalf of the respondent No.2 despite service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that his only grievance is that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the matter at the earliest preferably within one year.

It is the right of every citizen to get his/her matter decided from the Court as expeditiously as possible. Similarly, the petitioner has also the right to get his matter decided as expeditiously as possible. 4.

Learned APP for the State submitted that he has no objection in case the Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings. 5.

In view of the above, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the

proceedings and decide the matter as expeditiously as possible preferably within 11⁄2 years and submit a report after 11⁄2 years in the Registry of this Court. In case the matter is not decided within the span of 11⁄2 years, the Trial Court is directed to submit a report of the matter after every six months in the Registry, thereafter. 6.
