The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 525/2015 under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 registered with PS Okhla Industrial Area and all proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The present petition is premised on the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. (respondent no.2), at whose instance the said FIR was registered.

The learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 states that respondent no.2 has recovered all dues from the petitioner and has no further claims against him. She also states that the bill indicating no dues (a copy of which has been placed on record) has been issued. She further states that

respondent no.2 has no further grievance against the petitioner and it will not pursue the FIR in question.

In view of the above statements, this Court considers that ends of justice would be met by quashing the FIR in question. 5.

The petition is allowed and the FIR bearing no. 525/2015 under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 registered with PS Okhla Industrial Area and all proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. 6.

Order dasti under signature of Court Master.
