% 29.10.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after his mother who is suffering.

On a notice being issued a status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report the mother of the petitioner is taking treatment from Care and Cure Nursing Home at Rohini. It is stated that the mother of the petitioner is suffering from Hypothyroidism, Hypertension, Hemorrhoid and Anemia due to the illness. The family of the petitioner comprises of his parents and one younger brother who are residing at C-1/38, Meer Vihar, VPO-Madanpur Dabas, Delhi. As per the nominal roll placed on record, the petitioner has availed three furloughs in this year, the last being from 16th August, 2018 to 30th W.P.(CRL) 3314/2018

August, 2018. The application seeking parole on the ground mentioned was filed to the Competent Authority on 28th June, 2018 whereon the impugned communication dated 20th August, 2018 was passed informing the rejection thereof.

Considering the fact that after filing the application of parole the petitioner has already been granted furlough for a period of two weeks, this Court finds no ground to grant any parole to the petitioner at this stage. Petition is dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Central Jail, Tihar.
