By these petitions, the petitioners inter-alia pray for directions to the learned Trial Court for conclusion of the trial in case FIR No.318/1999 under Sections 421/120-B IPC registered at PS Lahori Gate. W.P. (CRL) 3193/2018 By:AMULYA

A status report has been filed.
As per the status report, FIR No.318/1999 was registered on 29"^ May, 1999 and after investigation, charge-sheet and three supplementary charge-sheets have been filed. Charge was framed against the accused on different dates being 19'*^ January, 2002, 22"'^ November, 2006 and 23'^'^ July, 2016. As many as 332 prosecution witnesses have been cited. The claims of 270 investors have to be considered by the learned Trial Court. Out of the 332 prosecution witnesses 53 have already been examined.

Considering the nature of evidence as also the fact that all the victims are required to be examined by the learned Trial Court besides other witnesses which is taking long time, learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial in case FIR No.318/1999 as expeditiously as possible preferably by trying to accommodate four dates in a month. 4.
Petitions are disposed of.
