The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "i. Allow the present Writ Petition (Criminal) Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with 482 Cr.P.C in the nature of certiorari, mandamus, or any other writ, order or direction for quashing of all the proceedings arising out of show cause notice bearing no C.NO VIII(AP)10/P&1/661B/ARRIVAL/201314/15746 to dated 30.09.2014 including the appeal bearing no.

air/254/2017 filed by office of the commissioner of customs before appellate authority against the order-in original no.

29861/2017 dated 10.02.2017 passed by additional commissioner of customs, inland container depot, tughlakabad,

new delhi, ii. Direct the respondent to release the seized gold jewellery,"

It is apparent that the subject matter of the present petition does not fall within the scope of a criminal writ petition. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition, while reserving its right to take appropriate remedies including to file a civil writ, if otherwise maintainable, in accordance with law.
