% 01.11.2018 IA 15077/2018 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. OMP(MISC)(COMM.) 328/2018 This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.
Counsel for the respondents, who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court.
Having perused the contents of the petition and in light of no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondent, the time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of one year with effect from 15.10.2018.
The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to
costs.
