% 25.10.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for the respondent no. 1. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court, who accept notice and they have been identified by ASI Satya Pal Singh of police station Pandav Nagar.

On 21st July, 2012 FIR No.304/2012 under section 308/341/34 IPC was registered at police station Pandav Nagar against petitioner nos. 1 and 2 on the complaint of respondent nos.2 and 3. Charge sheet has been filed in May, 2016. However, on 17th September, 2018 the matter has been amicably settled between the parties outside the court with the intervention of common friends.

Learned APP submits that in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, he has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. YOGESH KHANNA, J.
