The present contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of orders dated 25.07.2014 and 01.08.2014 passed by this Court in W.P.(C)4642/2014, whereunder the respondents were directed to maintain status quo qua the service conditions of the workmen, on whose behalf the writ petition was filed. 2.

Pursuant to notice being issued, the respondents have filed an affidavit categorically stating that the services of the workmen are being continued in the same Department as also that their service conditions and nature of work have remained unchanged. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, in fact, the wages, which the workmen were drawing when the aforesaid orders were passed, have since been enhanced and, therefore, contends that the respondents have not in any manner violated the orders passed by this Court. 3.

In the light of the stand taken by the respondents, no case is made out for continuing with the present contempt petition any further.

The contempt petition alongwith pending applications is, accordingly, disposed of.
