% 29.10.2018 The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing the FIR No.326/2012, under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC registered with Police Station Shalimar Bagh, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the parties on instructions submitted that the parties have amicably settled the dispute and in that regard memorandum of understanding dated 25.6.2015 was also executed between the parties. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that in view to the settlement arrived at between the parties, they are living together happily along with their three children. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that the FIR No.326/2012, under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC registered with Police Station Shalimar Bagh, Delhi be quashed. Investigating Officer present in the Court has identified the

respondent No.2 and the petitioner and submitted that the parties are residing together along with their children.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties and the fact that the parties are now living together happily with their children, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.326/2012, under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC registered with Police Station Shalimar Bagh, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in above terms.
