% 28.01.2019 The petitioner had sought direction for refund of `35,46,872/-. It had complained that the respondent Delhi VAT authorities had unlawfully sought to carry out assessment beyond the limitation period provided by law.

After notice was issued, pursuant to the orders of the Court, the respondents have issued an order, indicating that the petitioner is entitled to the amount of `37,48,310/- together with interest at `9,21,160/- (totalling `46,69,470/-).
