After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the directions are issued to the trial court to expedite the recording of the prosecution evidence, he shall not press this application at this stage.

Learned Addl. PP submits that apart from the Investigating Officer, there are three formal/official witnesses to be examined. 3.
Keeping in view the totality of facts and circumstances, I deem it expedient to direct the trial court to endeavour to conclude the recording of prosecution evidence preferably within a period of two months from the next date of hearing before the trial court. BAIL APPLN. 2513/2018

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
