O R D E R

% 31.10.2018 According to the Status Report submitted by the Inspector, Police Station Parliament Street, the medical condition of the petitioner's wife, as recorded in the previous order, has been verified. She does, indeed, require surgical intervention for her heart ailment. The date of surgery is yet to be fixed. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this entire process will be set in motion once the petitioner's parole is extended. In the circumstances, the petitioner's parole is extended by four weeks from today on the same terms and conditions.

The Court would note that the petitioner is able to afford expensive treatment for his wife at a private hospital. He is undergoing sentence for non-payment of money under section 138 of N.I. Act. Evidently, the petitioner is a person of means and could well pay off monies owed to the complainants. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would obtain instructions in this regard for appropriate action by the petitioner.

The petition is disposed off in the above terms. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the petitioner, under the signature of the Court Master. NAJMI WAZIRI, J OCTOBER 31, 2018/acm
