% 03.12.2018 Vide order of 18th November, 2016, respondent was directed to inspect the subject property and to ensure that no illegal activity was carried out inside the shop.

Respondent has placed on record fresh status report of 21st March, 2018, which discloses that the inspection of the subject property has been carried out and it is found that it is an old and occupied property where unauthorized construction of mezzanine floor by lowering floor level and staircase has been raised. However, in terms of protection under the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act in respect of unauthorized construction, as aforesaid, the demolition order has been kept in abeyance till 31st December, 2017. In view of above, no further orders are called for in this petition.
