This is the second petition seeking quashing of FIR No.264/2018 under Sections 323/341/384/506 IPC registered at PS Amar Colony, New Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 on the ground that the parties have settled the matter.

Earlier petition being W.P.(Crl.) No.2059/2018 was withdrawn after some arguments. Offence under Section 384 IPC being serious in nature, FIR in question cannot be quashed on the basis of compromise. Moreover learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State informs that the petitioner is involved in 20 other cases.

Petition is thus dismissed.
