The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, inter alia, praying that the divorce petition bearing DA No.16/2017, which is currently pending in the court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, be transferred to the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, South District, Saket, New Delhi.

It is stated that the parties last resided together in a rented accommodation at Sultanpur Colony, which falls under the jurisdiction of the South District. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent also concurs with the petitioner's request for transfer of the divorce petition. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the Divorce Petition bearing DA No.16/2017 captioned 'Mrs Alice Varghese v. Mr Sherin V. Abraham' is transferred to the court of Principal Judge, Family

Court, Sought District, Saket.

The learned counsel for the parties are directed to appear before the concerned court on 08.07.2019.
