% 24.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre on 7th June, 2012, therefore, FIR No.546/2006 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at police station Krishna Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2 may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Khubi Ram of police station Krishna Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner has been declared void vide decree dated 8th December, 2007 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Karkardooma Court, Delhi. She

further submits that terms of settlement have already been complied with by the petitioner. She has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that matter has been settled between the petitioner and private respondent before the Mediation Centre and complainant has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No.546/2006 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at police station Krishna Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
