After some arguments, learned Senior Counsel for petitioner, under instructions, submits that in case the directions are issued for expeditious recording of the prosecution evidence, he shall not press this application, at this stage.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the trial court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of 9 months from the next date of hearing before the trial court. 3.

In view of the above directions, learned Senior Counsel for petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. He, however, reserves BAIL APPLN. 2553/2018

the right to file a petition for interim bail on the ground of the medical condition of mother of the petitioner.
