MAT.APP.(F.C.) 280/2018 The challenge in this appeal is order dated 29.09.2018 passed by the family court. The grievance of learned counsel for the appellant is that the family court has taken the written statement filed by the respondent/wife on record although there is unexplained delay for 370 days. Counsel submits that the matter has been unnecessary delayed by the respondent -wife. After some hearing in the matter the appeal is not pressed, however, it is prayed that the family court may be directed to hear the matter expeditiously. The stand taken by the learned counsel for the appellant is fair and just. While the appeal is dismissed as not pressed, we direct the family court not to grant any unnecessary adjournment to the
respondent and hear the matter as expeditiously as possible. With these observations, the writ petitioner is dismissed. G.S.SISTANI, J JYOTI SINGH, J OCTOBER 30, 2018 b
