Counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents/UOI only on 09.01.2019 with a copy furnished to the counsel for the petitioner. 2.

Mr. Mathur, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner states that hardly any time was left to file a rejoinder. He also states that though the petitioner was conveyed the order dated 05.10.2018, intimating him that the Advisory Board had opined that there was sufficient cause for the petitioner's detention and therefore, the Central Government has directed that he be detained for a period of one year reckoned from the date of his detention, i.e., 18.07.2018, the ground for confirmation of the decision taken by the Central Government, is within the special knowledge of the respondents alone.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that he may be permitted to produce the relevant records containing the opinion of the Advisory Board, for the perusal of the Court on the next date of hearing. In the meantime, rejoinder, if any, be filed to the counter affidavit. 4.
