% 18.09.2017 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with FIR No.49/2017, dated 13.03.2017 (PS Subzi Mandi) instituted for offences under Sections 323, 308, 34 and 174A of the IPC.

The petitioner along with his associate is said to have hit the complainant and his friend by means of a heavy substance. It has been submitted that the complainant and his associate were hurt and they sustained simple and grievous injuries respectively. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the circumstances under which the occurrence has taken place. It has further been submitted that co-accused of this case has been granted bail by the court below. The petitioner is in custody since 10.7.2017. Taking into account the nature of accusation and the period of the custody of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a

personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court.

The bail application stands disposed of.
