O R D E R

% 29.10.2018 Respondent nos. 2, 3 and 5, namely, Rajiv Juneja, Ankit Juneja and Nitin Juneja are present in Court.

They are brothers.

They have been identified by ASI Ram Lakhan of police station Roop Nagar. Respondent no. 4 Shanti Juneja is their grandmother.

Respondent nos. 2, 3 and 5 submit that they as well as their grandmother have settled the matter with petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

They say that they have no objection in case FIR No. 6/2009 under Sections 323/452/34 IPC registered at Police Station Roshnara

Road/Roop Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 5 to this effect are also on record at pages 44-51. Respondent no. 4 in her affidavit has categorically stated that she has settled the matter with petitioner and has no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and private respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
