O R D E R

% 29.10.2018 The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.67/2013 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, PS:Seelampur, Delhi. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that they have entered into a compromise before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi vide settlement dated 25.4.2013, duly signed by all the parties concerned.

Respondent No.2, who is present in Court, is identified by her counsel as well as the IO, stated that she is living happily with her husband, petitioner No.1, Mohd. Zafar Mansoori and three daughters. This fact is verified by the I.O.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi and more so the fact that the parties are living happily together, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.67/2013 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, PS:Seelampur, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in above terms.
