This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

Counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondents have no objection to the extension of time being granted. It is further submitted that the final arguments have been heard by the Sole Arbitrator and only the Award remains to be passed.

In view of the above, the time for making of the Award is
extended by a further period of four months with effect from 02.11.2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
