1. A detailed status report has been filed by the DCP, North East District, Delhi. It appears that acting on the leads that were obtained, a raid was conducted by the police team on 1st December 2017 at Gurgaon, Haryana and a lead was found about the missing girl, Ms. Zaibbi, aged around 20 years. She was found working with a company in Gurgaon as a customer care executive.

2. Ms. Zaibbi is in Court. She has informed the learned APP that she was not kidnapped and "that she had left her house willingly and she wanted to be self dependant while her parents were not agreeing to it". Her statement has also been recorded under Section 164 Cr PC on 3rd December 2017 before the learned ACMM, Karkardooma, Delhi. That statement also makes it clear that she wants to be on her own, be self-reliant and does not wish to return to her parents. The learned APP further states that Ms. Zaibbi is willing to meet

her parents on any mutually convenient date and time. It is for the parents of Ms. Zaibbi to work out how and when they should meet, now that they know that their daughter is safe and not under any illegal custody or restraint of anyone.

3. No further directions are called for in this petition.

4. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
