O R D E R

% 22.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Court, New Delhi on 7th January, 2017, vide Annexure P-1; therefore, FIR No.369/2015 under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at police station Sector 23 Dwarka on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by W/SI Saroj Bala, P.S. Sector 23 Dwarka. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, inasmuch as has received the entire settled

amount from the petitioners. He further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No.369/2015 under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at police station Sector 23 Dwarka and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
