By order dated 26.10.2018, the writ petition, being W.P. (C) No.11515/2018, was treated by this court as transfer petition. 2.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent had filed an appeal under Section 9 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 challenging the order of eviction dated 07.04.2015 passed by the Estate Officer. The said order dated 07.04.2015 impugned in the said appeal was stayed on 30.04.2015 by the learned District & Sessions Judge (West), Delhi. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that after retirement of Ms. Rekha Rani, learned District & Sessions Judge, West District, Delhi, on 31.10.2017, no new incumbent has joined the office and the appeal is not being heard. He further contends that the respondent Tr.P.(C) No.206/2018

herein has been in occupation of the public premises illegally and unauthorizedly.

In the circumstances, for the expediency of justice, the appeal being PPA No.06/2015 is ordered to be transferred from the court of Ld. District Judge, West District, Delhi, to the court of learned District Judge, Central District, Delhi, for disposal in accordance with law. 4.

The petition is disposed of accordingly. The parties are directed to appear before the learned District Judge, Central District, Delhi on 29.01.2019.
