% 30.10.2018 Petitioner seeks a mandamus to respondents No.1 & 2 to stop unauthorized construction in premises in question i.e. rear basement of W-110, Greater Kailash, Part-I, New Delhi.
Hon'ble Supreme Court is seized of the issue pertaining to illegal constructions, both ongoing and already concluded and has passed various orders, including 24th April, 2018 and 18th July, 2018 in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 M.C.Mehta Vs. Union of India & Ors. and has constituted a Monitoring Committee.
In view of Supreme Court's order of 15th December, 2017 in M.C.Mehta (Supra), this petition is not entertained, with liberty to petitioner to approach Monitoring Committee constituted by Supreme Page | 1
Court in pending petition M.C.Mehta (Supra).
Learned senior counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner will approach the Monitoring Committee within two weeks. If it is so done, then the Monitoring Committee is expected to expeditiously proceed in accordance with the law. With aforesaid observations, this petition and applications are disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master to counsel for parties.
