O R D E R

% 02.09.2015 The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authorities for providing protection to him and his minor children. It has been averred in the petition that his wife, with whom he married in the year 2002 has been troubling him for a long time. In the month of February, 2015, the wife of the petitioner, aided by respondent Nos.4 & 5 exerted pressure upon him for relinquishing his claim over one of the properties situated at A-9/1, Punjabi Basti, Nangloi measuring about 120 sq.yards in favour of his wife.

It is alleged that not satisfied with this conveyance of property, an

attempt was made by his wife for getting another residential property at Laxmi Park also transferred in favour of his wife. The refusal of the petitioner to oblige and do the needful was met with an angry response by respondent Nos.4 & 5 who have threatened him of dire consequences.

Mr.Ashish Agarwal, learned Additional Standing Counsel with reference to the status report which has been filed in the Court and which has been taken on record, submits that there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife. A complaint which was made by the petitioner has been received vide DD No.63B on 27.7.2015. It has been further stated that the wife of the petitioner has also filed a complaint against him for subjecting her to mental and physical torture for non fulfilment of demand of dowry.

No case has been made out by the petitioner for issuance of direction to the police authorities for providing protection either to him or to his children. The present petition is based on disputed questions of facts which may not be gone into in the present proceeding. On the basis of the aforementioned discussion, the writ petition No.1681/2015 is dismissed as being without merits. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J SEPTEMBER 02, 2015 k
