The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be given to respondent no.2 to convert the industrial plot bearing No. A-102, D.S.I.D.C., Narela Industrial Area Complex, Delhi-110040 from leasehold to freehold. It is stated that the petitioner had applied for such conversion by a letter dated 29.02.2016 with the requisite charges. However, no action has been taken on petitioner's application. 4.

In view of the above, respondent no.2 is directed to take an informed decision and covert the property in question from leasehold to freehold in accordance with law. In the event, respondent no.2 comes to the conclusion that such property cannot be converted, respondent no.2 shall communicate

the reasons for the same to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. It is clarified that all rights and contentions of the petitioner are reserved. VIBHU BAKHRU, J AUGUST 28, 2017 RK
