CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL
O R D E R
% 09.07.2018 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that despite repeated attempts, he has been unable to obtain instructions from the petitioner qua the prosecution of the present writ petition. Mr. Atul Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CBSE states that the relief prayed for in the petition cannot be granted on account of delay and latches, as well as, the circumstance that the bye-laws of the official respondent do not permit change of name of a candidate in the CBSE's record ex post facto. Be that as it may, since the petitioner is no longer keen to prosecute the present petition, the same is dismissed in default and disposed of accordingly.
