% 19.08.2015 This is a joint petition filed by the petitioners and respondent no.2 seeking quashing of two cross FIRs. The FIR no. 389/2013 has been registered on the complaint of Sunita. This FIR has been registered under Sections 354/452/323/506/34 of the IPC at police station Chhawla. The cross FIR i.e. FIR no. 390/2013 has been registered at the same police station Chhawla. This FIR has been registered under By:AMULYA

Sections 341/506 of the IPC and 8 of POCSO Act.

This is on the complaint of Himanshi.

Both the complainants in the cross FIRs are present. Their presence have been identified by their respective counsels and their identity stands established by the photographs affixed on their identity cards.

Learned counsel for the parties state that the parties have settled their disputes and they have no grievance or complaint left against one another. Parties are living in the same locality and they do not want to continue with the litigation They accordingly pray that these cross FIRs be quashed.

Learned Public Prosecutor under instructions of the Investigating Officer submits that in both the FIRs investigation is in progress and charges have been framed and if at all the present cross FIRs are permitted to be quashed, it should be quashed subject to costs as the State machinery has been put in to motion and the State has incurred expenses.

Accordingly, FIR no.

389/2013 registered under Sections 354/452/323/506/34 of the IPC and the FIR no. 390/2013 registered under Sections 341/506 of the IPC and 8 of iPOCSO Act at police station Chhawla as also all other proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to payment of Rs. 20,000/- to be deposited by each of the petitioners in the account of Juvenile Justice Board maintained with the UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch.
