Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the investigation regarding the offence under The Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 are going on and most probably the investigation would be completed within 6 weeks. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments, submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy as per law after the completion of the investigation, if required, before the Trial Court as well as before the High Court without prejudice to the rights and

contentions of the petitioner. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed. CRL.M.A. 48297/2018 is also dismissed as withdrawn.
