None has appeared on behalf of the petitioners despite repeated passovers.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for issuance of directions to the police to provide protection to them. 3.

It is mentioned in the petition that both the petitioners are major and got married on 07.08.2015 at Arya Samaj Vivah Munch (Regd.) as per Hindu rites and ceremonies, against the wishes of family members of petitioner No.1. It is further mentioned in the petition that after their marriage, they are apprehending threats to their lives from respondent No.2, who is father of petitioner No.1 4.

Alongwith the petition, the petitioners have also placed on record the photocopy of High School Certificate-cum-Marksheet of petitioner No.1 and

photocopy of Election I-Card and Aadhar Card of petitioner No.2 as well as photographs of their marriage to show that they are major and performed the marriage as per their own sweet will.

Learned ASC for the State has placed on record the copy of the order dated 01.10.2015 passed by Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(Crl.) No.2069/2015 titled as Ajeet Kumar Yadav vs. The State of Delhi & Ors., which was filed by petitioner No.2 herein. The order dated 01.10.2015 reads as under:

' 1. Upon being mentioned the matter is taken up.

2. Assistant Sub-Inspector Jitender Kumar of Police Station New Ashok Nagar has produced before the Court Ms. Shanu Pandey. She is accompanied by her mother Smt. Madhu Pandey. The Petitioner is also present in Court.

3. We have met Ms. Shanu Pandey in the chambers. She states that she left the home of her husband, the Petitioner, of her free will with her parents and is at present residing with her parents at Itawa in Uttar Pradesh. She further states that she does not wish to return to her husband. She does not appear to be under duress. She has further stated that she is pursuing her studies and wishes to continue staying with her parents.

4. The Petitioner was also separately called in the chambers and apprised of the above statement of Ms. Shanu Pandey. While he stated that she was enticed into leaving the matrimonial home, he has no apprehension about her safety.

5. Ms. Shanu Pandey admittedly is above 21 years. Her having been produced in the Court and with there being no apprehension as to her safety and since she has stated that she of her own left with her parents and wishes to continue living with them, no further orders are called for in this petition.

6. The petition is disposed of.'

It appears that in view of the fact that the petitioner No.1 has already left the company of petitioner No.2 to live with her parents and now there is no threat to any of the petitioners, they are not interested in continuing with this petition.

The writ petition is dismissed.
