1. Allowed subject to just exceptions.

OMP (T) No.34/2015 & IA No.16778/2015 (Stay)

2. This petition has been pending in this Court since August, 2015. The main prayer is for termination of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal (AT) on the ground that the fees is exorbitant.

3. No interim order has been passed in this petition thus far. In the mean while the proceedings before the AT have continued.

4. The above ground is not one for which the termination of the mandate of the AT could be sought under Section 14 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Given the limited scope of the Court's powers under Section 14 of the Act, the Court is not inclined to grant the relief prayed for. O.M.P.(T) 34/2015
