Perusal of the file reveals that not a single witness has so far been examined.

The prosecution shall endeavour to record statements of the prosecution witnesses at the earliest. Trial Court shall ensure that the witnesses are examined at the earliest.

In view of this, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the above observations.
