This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to seek compensation of Rs.25 lakh from the State for medical negligence in treatment of his eye while he was in custody. 2.
In this writ petition it has been alleged that petitioner has lost his eyesight due to medical negligence of the doctors of Jail Hospital, DDU Hospital, Gurunanak Eye Hospital as well as AIIMS Hospital. 3.
Mr. A.K. Dubey appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he has instructions to withdraw this writ petition as the petitioner feels that he may not be able to get adequate relief in this petition. Learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail the appropriate remedy available under the law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting the liberty as prayed.
