$~43 *
IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ W.P.(C) 12082/2018 & CM No. 46795/2018 DR RAKESH KUMAR BHATANAGAR ..... Petitioner Through Mr S.P. Verma, Advocate.
versus MINISTRY OF HEALTH ANR FAMILY WELFARE GOVT. OF INDIA ..... Respondent Through Mr Vivek Goyal, CGSC for UOI.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU
O R D E R
% 13.11.2018 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "(i) set aside the impugned order dated 12.07.2018 passed by the Delhi Medical Council through its Disciplinary Committee;
(ii) stay the operation of the impugned order dated 12.07.2018 passed by the Delhi Medical Council through its Disciplinary Committee."
2.
It is seen that a petition impugning the said order dated 12.07.2018 was filed earlier (W.P. (Crl.) 2281/2018 captioned Dr Rakesh Kumar Bhatnagar v. Delhi Medical Council & Anr.). The said petition was disposed of by a Coordinate Bench of this Court by an order dated 31.07.2018, whereby this Court had declined to interfere with the impugned order in view of the alternate remedy available to the petitioner.
3.
The prayers made are similar to those made in W.P. (Crl.) 2281/2018 and, therefore, no such relief can be granted. 4.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the MCI has not been heard. In this view, the present petition is disposed of by requesting the MCI to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from today.
5.
The petition is dismissed with the aforesaid observation. The pending application is, accordingly, disposed of.
