% 15.03.2016 I.A. No.3425/2016 Mr Gupta, who appears for the applicant/defendant no.2 states that he has bought a cheque for Rs.50 lacs drawn in favour of defendant no.1. The same had been delivered to counsel for defendant no.1. It has been assured that the cheque shall be honoured upon presentation. The cheque may be encashed by defendant no.1 without prejudice to the rights and contentions of defendant no.1.

Mr. Gupta further submits that the remaining amount of Rs.50 lacs payable towards the first instalment of Rs.1 crore to defendant no.1 shall be paid within a week. Let the same be done positively. List on 29.03.2016.
