O R D E R

% 06.10.2015 The petitioner seeks bail in FIR No.689/2014 (PS Delhi Cantt.) registered under Sections 308/452/427/34 of the IPC. It has been alleged that the petitioner and two others started abusing one Gautam when the parents of Gautam tried to interfere, co-accused Shivam assaulted the father of Gautam with a butcher knife leading to the injuries on his person. Co-accused Sanjay and the petitioner are alleged to have assaulted the father of Gautam by means of fists and slaps. The house of Gautam was alleged to have been ransacked. The petitioner submits that he is a neighbour of Gautam. The petitioner is in custody since 14.07.2015. It has been submitted on behalf of the state that the chargesheet has already been submitted.

Considering the nature of allegations, namely his having assaulted the

father of Gautam by means of fists and slaps along with other accused persons, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

The petitioner shall participate in the trial and would not in any way attempt to delay the conclusion of trial.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
