% 12.11.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his younger brother is to get married on 14th November, 2018. On a notice being issued a status report and nominal roll have been handed over which are taken on record. As per the status report the factum of marriage of younger brother of the petitioner to be performed on 14th November, 2018 and the reception to take place on 15th November, 2018 has been verified.
A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner has already availed three furloughs in this year the last being on 22nd September, 2018 and one parole w.e.f. 7th August, 2018. The petitioner could have spaced the parole/furlough according to his requirement. W.P.(CRL) 3386/2018
In view of the facts verified this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of one week from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent Tihar, Jail. Petition is disposed of.
