After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner having been appointed as an Inspector in the Railway Protection Special Force in the year 2011, would make a representation to the respondents to be transferred to the Railway Protection Force.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, accordingly, seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to make the said representation. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. We clarify that we have not examined or commented on the merits. 3.

The representation, if made, would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law. In case of an adverse order, the petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the same, in accordance with law. 4.
