O R D E R

% 28.08.2017 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the election of the Ward Committee of the respondent (North Delhi Municipal Corporation) which is fixed for 29.8.2017 will not allow the petitioner to participate as a necessary mandate to participate in the election is that the petitioner should have taken oath; this oath ceremony is fixed for 30.8.2017; this would not permit the petitioner to participate in the aforenoted election which is scheduled for tomorrow. On advance notice learned counsel for respondent has put in

appearance.

Learned counsel for respondent points out that although the oath ceremony has admittedly been fixed for 30.8.2017 but noting the submission of the petitioner who is admittedly a registered voter of Narela Zone and this election pertaining to Narela Zone the election which is scheduled for 29.8.2017 qua the Narela Zone (alone) will be postponed to 31.8.2017 in order that the petitioner can participate in the aforenoted election after oath taking ceremony which is fixed for 30.8.2017.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
