% 11.01.2016 The present application has been filed by the petitioner/ accused under Section 438 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the grant of pre-arrest bail in FIR No.1171/2014, under Sections 498A/506/ 294/34 IPC, Police Station Punjabi Bagh.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.
It has been submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State on the instructions of the Investigating Officer that the petitioner/accused is not required for the purpose of custodial interrogation.
In the facts and circumstances, the application is allowed. It is hereby ordered that in the event of arrest of the petitioner/accused, he shall be released on bail on furnishing the personal bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. However, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required. He is directed not to leave the country without prior permission of the Court concerned. He is further directed not to tamper with the evidence and not to influence the prosecution witnesses.
