This is a joint petition moved on behalf of the parties herein for seeking extension of time.

I am informed that the Arbitral Tribunal entered upon reference on 15.5.2017 and that, after the expiry of the statutory period of twelve (12) months parties mutually agreed for extension of time by six (6) months. 3.1 That extension was triggered on 21.3.2018.

3.2 Evidently, the extended time is coming to an end today, i.e. 15.11.2018.

In these circumstances, I am inclined to grant extension of time by four (4) months for concluding the arbitration proceedings and pronouncing an award in the matter.

The period of six (6) months will commence from 16.11.2018. 6.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
